That was one of the "Eend of an Era" trips between Walnut Creek and Pittsburg. The consist was three rented SP Harriamn coaches and Central Coast's SP 2901. As I recall, there were four round trips with all sold out. The only thing that marred the trip was that someone stole all the money the Walnut Creek Junior Chamber of Commerce made selling beer and other refreshments. There was also some hanky panky that took place in the loco's cab, but we won't share the sordid details.
