Brightline made this decision years before any discussions of any infrastructure bill. Actually there are 110 mph segmentswith grade separation enough on some segments of the FEC that could potentially do 125 mph, but the other "FRA" reason for 110 mph. maximum operatonal speed, in addition to the multiple segments with a lot of grade crossings, is the mix of freight and passenger rail operations on the FEC.

So, in fact, there's no "that too" at all, unless Marty and Doc came back in the Delorean and told Brightline about Covid, Trump losing, Biden,and this proposed infrastructure bill back when Brightline made that decisions...

I only wish Doc and Marty had done that for me, when I endorsed Prop. 1 A, and gave life to the "troll of many names".....
