There was a flurry of activity in McCloud in June 2020, a small crew from the Williams group cleaned up the shop to a state it had not been in many years and did some other cleanup around the yard, including piling the scrap from the cars they cut up several years ago into a single pile behind the shop. A mechanic worked on the 38 and got it running and apparently drafted up a parts list to get the 36 operational again. A track crew was reported to be inbound to work on patching the line back together, then….nothing since in the last 13 or so months.
