Via Palmdale about 50 minutes to Burbank.

As the crow flies about 95 miles at 125 mph is about 46 minutes.

They would have to average at least 125 mph to beat it.

Other factors:

A stop in Palmdale-Lancaster region is just as deserving as other stops along the way:

Population
Palmdale-Lancaster area 513,547
Fresno 654,628
Merced 136,969

There is the potential tunnel usage by Brightline.
