Its a hike ( east side about a quarter mile, west side about a mile). Martin side ( east side and the better photographed side, can probably can be reached by a 2W if you're careful and slow. It is rough and sandy in spots. Same on the New Stampede side( west side off of the forest road). Remember that the roads won't be plowed until late May, early June and will be quite muddy. 4W always the best choice up there.
