The winner is George!

The outside yard track, at the bottom end of C yard, that didn't go into the Dayton plant, was called the Pigeon Farm lead. Yes, and the Midway is where the Gold Line shops are today, next to the Metrolink Main, which was then the Downey lead.

The hint for the links--is puzzle switches......, as seen in the train scenes of death and destruction in Finnegan's Dream-Joel McCrae...... "I want to do comedy!"... Prior to River Station burning down, this was another name for that location, as well.

Petty's book is by far the most accurate on old SP in LA. Also check out the website-LA River Railroads, great photos of these places.
