Steve, I don't know about the printed timetables, but I distinctly remember the depot clocks that were always on standard time, never on daylight time. Many also had a sign above or below that stated "Central (or whatever) Standard Time," just to remind everyone of the fact. It would have been very appropriate, of course, when one considers that it was the railroads that were responsible for getting standard time established in the United States in the first place.
