Even the nastiest posters on this site concerning NWP are not rail haters per se, but a few outsiders have found this a great place to fan the flames. All of us agree the NWP corridor will return to the North Bay and Sonoma County. The naive notions that the NWP is somehow the "messiah" of railroad resurrections at the public trough just sets off some people. For us old timers a visit to the church of "Roots" and a ride on the "Skunk" is about all we can look forward to. You young "whipper-snappers" may see some of this come to pass, when the second growth matures, the economy is very different and California has a hundred million people. I'm
sure the land of dreadlocks and smoke will always be there. If Dan Hauser hadn't created the NCRA 25 years ago would we talking about this stuff????

Flame away...................
