Sure, why not?

The 10 has a wide median from Indio to Buckeye except the Colorado River crossing. Easy transition west of Buckeye to the UP. Combine with the LA to Indio corridor, Brightline would manage it better. LA to Fullerton to Riverside is better than LA to Rancho Cuc. Would have to be electric to do LA to Phoenix in 4 hours. Through Yuma is too far and UP won't let trains go faster than 110. But may not pencil out. Not the slam dunk Vegas is.

So hsr is good for "up to 400-500 miles" but LA-Phx is too far at 372 miles? Fullerton at 356 miles? Riverside at 320 miles? LA-Palm Springs not an intermediate market? Upon further review 02-07-2024 - 20:22
