He also decided an underground tunnel station in downtown Phoenix was the way to go. A long tunnel under podunk Wickenburg instead of slowing down to follow the BNSF at grade through a choke point, or along the future Interstate bypass to the southwest had me quickly turning it off.

His curve/speed tables are unrealistic, too.

Vegas-Phx ain't happening. At least not before LA-Phx, if that ever happens.
