Great insight into what took place. This all happened on Christmas night. The rookie cop (two years ) probably thought a belligerent drunk needed to thrown off. No big deal. That this guy resisted, had brass knuckles and reached for the cops taser changed everything. The asst. conductor should have been instructed to move away and lock the door between cars . This would have cornered the suspect alone between the cop and exit. The video should be shown to Amtrak employees as an example of what not to do if police arrive. Any information on the deceased? Was he on drugs? Had a past criminal record? Wanted , or on parole? Yes had this been a man of color the whole nation would have been talking about it.
