Someone said Amtrak turns these Chargers fast at each terminal, so mechanics don’t have much time to perform diagnostics or maintenance.

Siemens locomotives have proven themselves on Brightline and in Europe. Amtrak is always short on money and trying cut cost (dining experience, etc).
