I agree 100% Amtrak should be going where folks want to go and on a more frequent basis. Should Amtrak solely be in the old folks luxury cruise business? NO. I have no issue with subsidizing coach fares.

Bob2 might want to weigh in on this one, should Amtrak try and mimic the Euro night jet concept between city pairs?
