Generally, the PEB recommendations are followed and that pretty much serves as a compromise between both sides. It's been decades since there has been a prolonged railroad strike and that has put the screws to the workers. By immediately ordering everyone back to work after a strike of several minutes duration and sending it down the PEB / arbitration (binding or not) / Congressonal action road, it has essentially taken the right to strike away from the workers and is, I feel, an abuse of what the RLA was intended to do.

I've tried reading Frank Wilner's book but I keep falling asleep. It's a great cure for insomnia! I know enough about the RLA that my comments prompt you to make responses. Have you read it cover-to-cover?

A simple typo. Have you ever made a typo?
The Dems made fools of themselves (certainly not the first nor last time) when they were altering Biden's comment.
A transcript released by the White House press office, however, included an apostrophe — "supporter's" — suggesting Biden was criticizing one supporter, Hinchcliffe. Both words sound the same, making it unclear from audio of Biden's call with activists which version he meant.
