Sam, there were a lot of entries in his timebooks titled "Ord Turn", and the majority
had the heavy Pacifics as power. When you think of him being just one fireman, think of
how many other times that occured during the War. I found the entry of "mixed" on 9-29-42
to be really interesting also.
Some things really stick in your mind, but with all the typing I did on this
project back in '96, I remember 2466 and 2476 both being used a lot between SF
and SLO.
I can't answer your question about turning bigger power, sorry. Maybe we'll get
lucky with an old head who is listening in here and can help.
