The picture of the military equipment and BOB's comment drew a smile from me.

I have some friends that think the United Nations plotting to take over the USA. There is an email going around about foreign troops training in the US this summer and they think this is the first time foreign troops have been here since the British in 1812. Of course this is a UN plan to control right wingers and gun owners.

The truth is foreign troops have trained here since at least WWI. Several years ago the BNSF moved German armor from Texas ports for desert training and the equipment stayed here until the next year for different units to fly in and do their training. After 9/11 Nato member aircraft patrolled the skies over the US.

I wrote a response to their bogus email, but then I deleted it, realizing it wouldn't make any difference to them.
