When there was real freight on the Coast Line

A northbound Union Pacific manifest makes its way up the Coast Line at San Lucas, California in April of 2002. It’s hard to think of this as a daily event now. The UP has discontinued use of the Coast Line for big freight except for the occasional reposition train to store cars.
