The last time I recall cars being spotted would have been December 2006 or January 2007. I recall that just before I left U of I for winter break, there was a train that came in to spot a propane tank. The train also had a few center beams as idler cars. It left without the tank, and when I came back in January the tank was gone, and that was the last time I ever saw a revenue run in Moscow. The last train I ever saw run in Moscow (though it was not dropping off or picking up cars) was on March 28 2007. There is a chance that it was the LAST train in Moscow, but I have no way of proving that. The pictures of it, and of some propane tanks in Moscow Nov of 06 are in this album:
