Hi Ken:
I believe that I was firing for Dan Ranger that day...I first ran the 11 in 1970, then asked
Dan if I could fire for him. He told me that if I wanted to help out with the work in
getting her ready each operation, then I was welcome. He was the best teacher that anyone
could ever ask for and a great guy to be on a locomotive with...we boiled a lot of water
together.
I do remember that BAERA train sitting on the SN main when they came in.
