The U.S. Open is scheduled for Chambers Bay in 2015. That should be plenty of time to plan for a temporary Amtrak stop along the back side of the course.

BTW, if you look closely at the train, you'll notice an actual "cabbage" NPCU, with the side roll-up baggage doors, in the "wave" scheme instead of the normal "Cascades" NPCU. As I recall, there is one of these on the route right now, #90278.
