Trainorders used to be fun. The subscriptions have turned me off. I also didn't like seeing the heritage members be eliminated no matter what kinds of positive contributions they made to the website. I often wish TO would return to its original form. Photos were posted via HTML in the beginning, thus eliminating the gigantic need for storage space and the subscriptions to pay for them. There are so many free image hosts today that can do the job. The videos could be hosted on Youtube, and posted via HTML or BB Code. Also in the beginning was only one railcam, but I rarely looked at them all the time, so was it really a nescessary expense? The best appeal of TO was to chat and share with friends, not all the extra stuff. Not too many of them have stuck around though, and TO is a much different crowd now.
