It would be nice if I could get away just briefly without worrying about this place. You see, I've driven 2000 miles since Thursday across Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming, researching information for a new timetable. My internet access has been very sporadic. Today, coming into Denver, I looked down and discovered several voicemail messages on my phone - alerting me about the discussion board. There was nothing I could do until reaching a friend's house here in Palmer Lake, CO.
The reason for this trip is because I can't persuade people to contribute information anymore. Most of Rob's long time contributers disappeared when he died. So I'm having to research information at a much higher cost than Rob Carlson experienced. This trip by itself will cost thousands of dollars.
It's extremely disheartening to realize my time, effort, and money will benefit the same troublemakers on this board. I don't want a pat on the back, but if this is the thanks I get, perhaps it's time to shut everything down. No more discussion board, no more timetables. You decide.
