Agree that it seems to be an official discontinuance of service. However, the notice goes on to talk about OFA's and alternative uses (trails/rail banking), which are usually only brought up for full abandonments. So perhaps we need to look at the FRA docket and find out what's really on their minds? Or maybe if we have Press members who lurk here (??) one of them could call up POTB and ask for clarification?
