At this point I'm not sure the middle section is even worth saving.
Given the relatively light traffic base and very high maintenance involved
in keeping the branch open it seems better to let it go than let it die a
slow NWP like death. Tillamook is a nice town, but it seems like it floods
every year. I can't imagine too many large companies, companies that would
generate enough traffic to justify a railroad, wanting to locate there. Just
my opinion. Flame away.
