As Stash noted, I don't think the line was ever built from Point Isabel south into Berkeley. Was the archives map a proposal or actually built?

During my student days at Berkeley I didn't see many trains on the line through Berkeley. One memorable one, however, was an empty troop train which was heading east after unloading at the Oakland Army Base during the early days of the Vietnam war. The train was a real collection of cars from lots of roads, I guess whatever the Army could get for that train. I don't remember many troop trains after that one.
