Drew-- "when construction of a new gorilla facility" (What??) Finish your sentence, please.
I rode that train several times at Fleischacker Zoo in the 1950's--so it probably never got tucked away until the 60's or beyond. I also have a great shot of the engine when it was labeled for the Fleischacker Railroad with the number 1925 still on it.
And I have it running (b&w) on 8mm film which I transferred to DVD.
Keep up the great work, Drew.. We all enjoy your photos.
