CP in Southeast BC

Hello,

I'm looking for some information about shooting the CP in southeast B.C., mainly the area around Cranbook and Crowsnest Pass. How much traffic goes through, can you head up there and have a solid day of photography or is it pretty light on traffic? Also how much acess from to the line is available?
