EMD 265 - H engines throwing rods ??? That sounds bad !!! The impeller blade problem is also becoming an issue with the GE engine. I've read somewhere ( maybe here ? ), of a safety bulletin issued by BNSF that forbids employees to be on the walkways of certain C4400's if the throttle is above run 2. Seems the impeller blades are exiting the turbo and carbody. Hope they're still under warranty...
