And frankly, I can't figure out what state services you could possibly be talking about. I doubt there are any so-called state services that we would truly miss.

Except maybe public protection or maybe education. Oops - I forgot, we've already been missing those. The California judicial system and public education have both been a useless wasteland for decades. (I should know - I work in a lawyer's office - suing schools for there idiocies)

As for the HSR idiocy, they can't even sell the bonds anyway, so don't worry. There will ice cream socials in the hallowed halls of hell, before anybody rides an American TGV. And when we next piss-off the Arabs (soon now), we'll wish we even had rinky-dink trains - which of course - we won't

The only state services that will be funded are those that our useless politicians keep using to bribe the stupidest voters among us, into re-electing them. There's enough of them, that it doesn't matter how the rest vote.
