This is where the Timber Heritage Association museum at Samoa could be a World class attraction.
You've already got the Madeket on the water and hopefully the Eureka Inn, Clarke Museum, The "Arkley Center For the Performing Arts." Now if Eureka and the Harbor District could just get over Goldman-Sacks and do something about the homeless mess.......THA and the tourist train could be as much of an attraction as Roots in Willits, the Museum in Elbe Washington, or CSRM in Sacramento for that matter. Their recent acquisition of five subs from Portola and varnish from Santa Rosa would give them a 9 car dinner train any museum would drool over. Can you imagine a "Eureka Inn Christmas" with a train like that. Oh well......cheers to dreams.
