Foamers who are also great people

Time to put some positive spin on the Altamont Press turntable. What railfan/photographer, past or present, impressed you with their kindness, thoughtfulness and general good behavior? I posted this in another thread below but I'll repost here:

Richard Steinheimer: Met him once and talked to him on the phone once many years ago. Was always a gentleman to me. He could hold a good conversation without wavering. Something of a lost art these days.

Doug Harrop: All around nice guy, I thought anyway. Talked to him in Tehachapi once and seemed low key and straight forward. Since I knew he worked for the SP at the time I asked him alot of questions: he had no problem answering any of them.

Joe Blackwell: Always friendly at Winterail. Never heard him say a bad word about anybody, which is more than I can say.

Those are the one's that come to mind at this late hour. There are many others.

Thoughts??
