Crossing work at Banks, at the west end of the yard, 2 crossings being replaced, all new track panels with new steel rails and new ties going in, lots of track workers and equipment even on Sunday! The wig-wag signal is gone, and crews are working in the yard as well. Anyone know why they would upgrade the rails given that the POTB is essentially out of service except for storage?
