P&W has to enter Banks to switch from the Tillamook District to the United Railways District.

I have heard rumors of P&W installing a track that would allow trains northward on the Tillamook District to "turn right" onto the United Railways and head to North Plains and Cornelius Pass (or vice-versa, make a "left turn" onto the Tillamook) thus avoiding Banks, and turning Banks into essentially a switching lead for Banks Lumber.

Currently, trains must pull into Banks, and then run around the train to continue. Very time consuming.
