Redmond's Mayor

This news shouldn't come as a surprise to the city of Redmond. It's been Tom's plan all along to run excursions from Redmond to Snohomish.

Neither customer is exactly in downtown Redmond, so the only real issue the mayor should have is with the excursion train.

I'd think a few minutes of an idling diesel should be a small thing to tolerate when the gain is adding tourism business. Tom's plan is to get some of the cruise ship passengers, which is business Redmond would likely not otherwise benefit from.
