The dividend B-Hathaway received was on par with previous amalgamated dividend payouts. The point was to deflect sympathy for Hamberger's scary notion of big well-heeled companies being vultures of the Staggers Act, when it is obvious that BNSF/UP etc. are themselves also wealthy companies with just as much lobbying ability. Simplistic stone-throwing will only create holes in the collective glass house. Mr. Buffet does deserve a return on his investment, and if $250 million is proper, then all power to him!
