Grangeville line

The problem with some branch lines is the lack of shipper support. The shippers want the railroad to be there to keep trucks in check. I would think that if the revenue/carloadings were there to pay the operating costs, the railroad would be operating. Think of the UP Heppner Branch and many others. Wood chips and grain.
