Titlow Beach park, at the end of 6th Ave in Tacoma, has great angles of Southbound Amtrak, BNSF & EwePee trains, plus plenty of free parking, a burger & fish joint, & track signals visible. A paved & dirt walkway runs literally along the tracks from 6th Ave crossing to the Tacoma Yacht Club, where a wooden bridge over the tracks allows views of S/B trains W/ Tacoma Narrows bridges behind. Lotsa beach - goers during sunny days can limit parking somewhat, but can also help a youngster feel safe.
