The downside is that the whole dang town charges for parking, even in Sunnyside Park. Too bad, since it is a picturesque little town.

A free option close by is to park at the lower meadows at the new Chambers Creeek Golf Course. There's even a bridge over the tracks to the beach, so you can safely and easily get to both side of the track.
