If WES ran all day, and on weekends, the ridership would be significantly higher. You need to remember that this route goes the heart of the Portland area's most suburban, and most automotive oriented area. The real coup would be for TriMet to operate bi-power equipment thru the tunnel, and into to downtown, and by the way Marty, have you ever been stuck in an Oregon 217 traffic jam? The 217 is by far the worst engineered piece of freeway I have ever driven (with the excpetion of course, of the old Pasadena Fwy.)
