Sorry I wasn't explicit enough with my answer to Tom to obviate the need to pick nits. I should have said "Oregon Electric Railway route". With the exception of about 1,500 or so feet of new track (never a part of the SP Tillamook branch) on the north end to reach the Beaverton Transit Center and about a mile between Greton (near SW North Dakota Street) and Hall Boulevard the 27-minute WES trips run on the former Oregon Electric route as it has existed for three-quarters of a century.

The OE trackage rights were between Greton and Beburg, not Beaverton. Due to the rug having been rolled up behind me I once had to get a train order to run from Beaverton to Beburg because the Beaverton Yard Limits did not extend all of the way to the SP APB signal at Beburg.
