The DOT is doing their best to scare people out of the cars.. Backed up to Tacoma????

Yes, there are going to be backups. Hell, my company is planning on using a "water taxi" to transport some of our stuff from our Fife office, take to a Tacoma Dock, load on a water taxi and it goes to Seattle...
I am asking tomorrow how long is this going to take and how much the "water taxi" will cost.
I drove an alternate route tonite other than straight up I-5 from Fife to Seattle which normally takes 30 minutes for 27 miles.
My route ended up being 32.5 miles and taking 51 minutes....
My route:
Fife to Hwy 518 (Sea Tac exit), go west on Hwy 518 to Ambaum Blvd in Burien. Go North on Ambaum Blvd to Roxbury St in White Center. Left (west) on Roxbury to 35th ST SW, North on 35th St SW to Avalon, down Avalon and get on the lower West Seattle Bridge. At East Marginal Way turn north and go north until you get to Coast Guard Station, turn right and I'll be 1/2 mile from my office.
Sounds like a round about way but it works...
