The building was a dull silver color because it had metal siding - what some refer to as a "Butler building" - which was a very common type of SP building built in the Fifties and Sixties. Never painted. It had windows on all four sides. There was some landscaping (a mix of old plants and weeds) on the south and east sides. The snack bar trailer that was moved in under the old IER structure had brown wood siding, however.
