After doing some looking around, I found the entire movie available in a streaming format at the following link:

I skimmed through it and found a couple railroad scenes...there appears to be some stock footage of a logging railroad involved, a 2-6-6-2T, that may or may not be in the Redwoods (somewhere in Washington would be my guess). The caboose is a standard SP model, looks to have only the SP markings removed. The railroad scenes could have been on Pacific Lumber, or abandoned Hammond trackage, or perhaps somewhere else entirely (part of it has a SP Tillamook branch look?).

I'd be interested in more specifics if anyone can provide them...
