Before you get let off the hook for running your mouth like this, let's remember one simple fact that you and anyone else that worships at the alter of Portola - as a 501c(3)-Non Profit Organization, the Feather River Rail Society is completely dependant on tax deductible donations of time, materials, and money. To put it another way, its very exisitence is being subsidized by the citizens of the United States in that tax monies that could lawfully be collected if this were a bona-fide business operation are not. In other words, if you pay taxes, you have every right to have an "opinion" about ANY 501c(3) operation! FRRS members, have the "museum" pay some taxes, then YOU can have an opinon regarding taxpayers/railfans. And, lest we forget, the FRRS is NOT an operating railroad under 49CFR but IS, in fact, nothing more than a bunch of "railfans" themselves. So be sure to include yourself in the "railfan" category when you want to make similar dismissive comments.
