The trouble is that California Politicians just can't resist fixin' something that ain't broke!

But not to worry, it will be broke by the time the're done messing with it; especially if a cluster #@$^& organization such as MetroLink is left to admin or run it.

As bad as Amtrak sometimes seems, its state funded San Diego operation is far and away the biggest passenger train success story outside the Northeast since mud was invented. It is in fact, the inspiration behind the Capitals, the San Joaquins, and several other emerging state funded corridors.

Even on a bad day, Amtrak is orders-of-magnitude better, more professionally run, than MetroLink on a good day!
