A few years ago I bought a Nikon D40X kit with two lenses, 18 to 55mm and 55 to 200mm. I found that this lens combo was a disaster for rail fan photo work. Can't swap lenses fast enough! I recently bought a 18 to 200 VR lens and love it. Any comments on what other foamers are using?
