San Joaquin Valley Railroad's Sunset Subdivision (the old Sunset Railway) begins at Gosford on their Buttonwillow Subdivision (which is the old SP Buttonwillow Branch) and extends for just under 20 miles to the end of track between Millux and Pentland (about 15 miles short of Taft). Gosford is 10 miles out the Buttonwillow Sub from its junction with UP's Mojave Sub at Kern Junction.
