A nice article about Chard Walker appeared in Oct 3, San Bernardino Sun

Only a few errors:
The Author wrote, "...Walker had joined a trolley fan club..." Chard joined the Railroad Boosters, which later became Pacific Railroad Society. This might also have been a reference to friends and contributors of the old Interurbans Magazine.

The term "train operator" was used. The Santa Fe Ry's title was train order operator or telegrapher.

The author used "...Empire Railway Museum in Perris" when it should have been Orange Empire Railway Museum.

Chard was informed that his book Cajon Rail Passage to the Pacific would be reprinted for Christmas 2007, not early 2008.
