I agree COMPLETELY...the arrogant aholes using the Springwater Trail along our East Portland line have blocked my vehicle numerous times in the past while driving the trail to make track and slide/washout inspections.
I have simply gotten out of my vehicle portable radio in hand, put on my railroad police jacket and ordered them to "move on". Once I have their attention (I'm 5-11, 230 pounds) I go into my tirade about how if it wasn't for the railroad they wouldn't even have their f'n trail.
At that point the "Spandex Wonders" as we call them disburse and I go on with my inspection. Word about the "crazy old white-haired man" in the red Ford pickup must have gotten around among them, since I haven't had any confrontations lately!
