KRK is correct. The late Walter Abbenseth made a few modifications to make the 717 appear like a Hollywood car. It is really a Valley 7.

Also, the 1001 was outshopped at Torrance with pneumatic trolley bases, since removed at OETM(and put who knows where) due to the considerable weight to the fragile roof structure.
